Gerald “Jerry” Rice, age 73, retired truck driver, passed away, Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Visitation 1-8 PM Sunday, with family receiving friends 5-7 PM, funeral service 10 AM Monday,December 10, 2012, Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Francis & Thelma Rice; son, Gerald Rice, Jr.; and brother, David Rice. Survivors: wife, Sharon; sons, Scott, Wichita, James, Oklahoma, and Jeff, Harper; daughter, Rita Rice (Paul Guldner), Wichita; brother, Larry (Rose), Wichita; sister, Deanna Stewart, North Carolina; 6 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
