Derby- Gerald W. Craft, 87, died August 10, 2014 at Derby. He was born December 9, 1926 in Jonesboro, AR, the son of James and Knelphie (Kemp) Craft. Gerald is survived by his wife Blanche of Derby, a daughter; Gale Craft of Albuquerque, NM; Adopted son Jerry of Deltona, FL, a stepson Mark Hackney of Ralston, OK; step daughter Susan Moss of Augusta; brothers; Jim, Jonesboro, AR and Wayne, Los Gatos, CA; sisters; Bobbie, Fayetteville, AR and Irma, Wichita; 6 step grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren. Gerald was retired from the U. S. Navy and the U.S. Postal Service. Visitation Wednesday, August 13, 2014, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.. Funeral service will be Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 10 a.m. both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS.
