George William Rosendale

George William Rosendale, 77, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011 after a lengthy battle with diabetes. He was born November 4, 1933 near Keenan, Oklahoma to John and Laura Rosendale. George served in the U.S. Army. He married Penney Sue Tillotson on December 27, 1964 at Pleasantview Baptist Church in Derby, KS. George retired from Cessna Aircraft Company in 1998 after 42 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Richard and sister Elsie. Survivors: wife, Penney; children, James C. Rosendale and wife Teresa of Haysville, Kathleen M. Sawyer and husband Taylor of Warner Robins, GA and John C. Rosendale of Hutto, TX; grandchildren, Daniel, Stephen, Anna and Brittany; brothers, John and Charles; sister, Peggy Sass. Visitation: 1-8pm Wednesday, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock, Rd., Derby with family greeting friends from 6-8pm. Funeral service: 10am, Thursday, April 21, 2011, First Baptist Church, 1020 N. Second, Mulvane.
