George J. "Buddy" Jameson, Jr., 70, was called home on Friday, May 1, 2015 to be with the Lord. He was born September 3, 1944 to George J. and Lorene (McDaniel) Jameson in Pittsburg, KS. George graduated from High School in Cherokee, KS and later attended college at Wichita State University. He moved to the Mulvane area in 1963. George married Mary Ford and they had four children. He was the owner of Pappy’s Pizza and Party Time BBQ and was a Haysville Police Officer for several years. Later, he was a retail manager for TG&Y stores and Cloth World Fabric. In his later years, George enjoyed writing spiritual poetry including, “Dust,” which is engraved on his headstone. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Billy Jameson and Danny Jameson. George is survived by his children, Sheila (Craig) Bannister, Terri (Jimmy) Moore, Wendy Jameson, and George Jameson III; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandson. Memorial graveside: 1 pm, Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Mulvane Cemetery.
