George Herdt, 75, died September 2, 2015 at his home in Derby. He was born February 16, 1940 in Valley Falls, Kansas to John and Tabea (Steinert)Herdt. George was a pool installer. He is survived by his children, Kim Shrauner (Rick), Greg Herdt, Christ Herdt (Cyndi), Jody Myers (Mattison).11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be 10:00 am Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Smith Mortuary Chapel, 1415 N Rock Rd, Derby. Memorial contributions may be made to the Derby Historical Museum, 208 N.
