Gene Clifford Leedy

Gene Clifford Leedy, age 89, photographer and former Boeing Company and KG&E employee, passed away Monday, March 21, 2016. Visitation 1-8 PM Thursday, Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home, 507 S. Maple. Funeral service 2 PM Friday, First Baptist Church, 107 S. Maple. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 PM to 2 PM. Gene is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; parents, Charles & Ruth Leedy; and a sister, Elsie Hathaway. Survivors include his daughter, Dana Caldwell (David), of Baton Rouge; stepsons, Dallas McLeod (Patricia) and Teddy McLeod, all of Wichita; 5 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with First Baptist Church, 107 S. Maple, Douglass, KS 67039.
