Gene Alexander Ansley

Ansley, Gene Alexander, 64, passed away on October 12, 2026 in Derby, KS. He was born on July 27, 1962 in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma.

Gene Ansley was adopted by Ernest & Joy Ansley in 1965. He graduated from Putnam City North High School in 1980. He attended college OSU-Okmulgee, and pursued his passion as an automotive technician. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and most of all being papa. He was also a devoted Oklahoma Sooners fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest & Joy Ansley, and sister Sarah Ansley.

Gene is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Emery-Giuffre and Melissa Owens. Son in laws Matthew Emery-Giuffre and Sean Owens and his beloved grandsons Korben Emery-Giuffre and Braden Mongold. He is also survived by his chosen family, including his "adopted" children Dennis and his family and Sarah and her family.

A Celebration of Genes Life will be held at a later date.
