72, passed away Sunday, October 1st, 2023. He was born November 8th, 1950 to Alvin Wilderson and Emma Dumond Wilderson in Wichita, Kansas.

Gary was an avid bass fisherman fishing in tournaments all over Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. He was a car enthusiast and was a member of the Corvette Car Club. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He retired from the FAA after 35 years of service. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; together again with his beloved wife, Vickie Wilderson; and by mother-in-law, Betty Jo George.

Gary is survived by his children, David Wilderson (Shawna Hitchcock), Nicole Angsten (Cory); grandchildren, Kaitlin Angsten, Racheal Pettis, Desire Clark, Jeffery Clark, Christopher Webber, Justice Wilderson, Brady Angsten; six great-grandchildren; brother, Michael Wilderson (Gwen); father-in-law, Buford George; and by so many others he treated like family.

Visitation: Tuesday, October 10th, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 South Seneca, Wichita, Kansas 67213. Graveside Service: 1:00 pm, Friday, October 13th, 2023 at Greenwood Cemetery, 6231 W. 47th St. S., Wichita, KS 67215.
