Gary Dale Stephens

Haysville - Gary Dale Stephens 75, passed away Wednesday, August 24th, 2022 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born February 20th, 1947 to Paul Stephens and Lillian Stephens (Vogel) in Independence, Kansas.

Gary served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1973. He had several Night Clubs & Gary's Family Restaurants. Gary later went into Sales (cars) and spent 12 years at O'Rileys Auto Parts.

Gary loved music, fishing, cooking, telling great stories and especially just being with his family. He loved us all so much.

Gary is survived by his sister Yulonda Babinaux of Metairie LA, Wife of 32 yrs Shelley Stephens, Daughters Shawna Essmiller, Yvonne & (Matt) Creighton, Rachel & (Josh) Newby, Tammi & (Dave)Bostic, Son John & (Jarron) Cooper, 7 Granddaughters, 5 Grandsons & 4 Great- Grandchildren.

Gary was a wonderful Husband, Father and Papa.

Together we built a beautiful family that he was so proud of. He will remain in our hearts forever.
