Gary Ray Engels

Engels, Gary R., 61, former Campus High teacher and coach, passed away Monday, August 5, 2013. Visitation 1-8 Thursday (family present 6-8 p.m.), at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Funeral service 10a.m. Friday, at First Baptist Church of Haysville, 125 S. Delos. Preceded in death by son Jacob Engels, father Robert Engels, and step-father Joe Wiggans. Survived by children Luke Engels and Samanda Engels; mother Jean Wiggans; brothers Steve (Sheryl) Engels, Randy (Michele) Engels, Greg (Christa) Engels, half-brother Mark (Katrina) Martin, step-brothers Alan (Anita) Wiggans and Dennis Wiggans, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Gary’s name with Campus High School, 2100 W. 55th St., Wichita, KS 67217.
