Garlon Dean Thompson

Garlon Dean Thompson, 92, Haysville, KS, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016. He was born April 1, 1923, the son of Thomas David and Mary Ann (Willeford) Thompson. They preceded him in death along with 7 brothers and sisters. He worked for USD #261 for over 25 years where he retired. He married Wanda D. Bickers on May 22, 1945. She survives of the home. Also surviving is a daughter, Sylvia D. Ziesenis (Glenn), son, Phil D. Thompson (Margo), grandchildren; Cary (Herbie) Ziesenis, Mickey (Macaroni) Monjure, Brenda (Boo Boo) Reed, Deanna (Dee Dee) Thompson, Great grandchildren; Zakkiry Flowers, Shelby Monjure, Dakota Jensen, Nick Monjure, Kyle Reed, Sophie Reed and Devin Ziesenis. Funeral Services will be 10 AM Tuesday, March 22 at First Baptist Church, 125 S. Delos Ave., Haysville, KS, 67060. The family suggests contributions to the church.
