Garland David Johnson, Jr. , 49, of Wichita, KS, passed away on April 8, 2021.


Garland was born on December 6, 1971 to Sue & Garland Johnson Sr. in Springfield, OH.


For many years, Garland traveled all over the United States as a Pipeline Welder before becoming disabled. In 2018, he met Christina, and they wed in July of 2019.


Garland was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of his children, Chloe and Cassie Johnson, Chelsea and Noah Molder, Christopher and Chelsey Bungart, and adopted daughter Nicole Miller. As well as Grandson Clayton Lance Bungart.


Garland was also passionate about guns, Kansas City Chiefs Football, and fast cars/bikes, and could often be found hunting when he wasn’t at home.


Anyone who knew Garland knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. He is survived by father-Garland David Johnson Sr., Step-mother Becky Johnson, Wife-Christina Johnson, Children- Cassie and Chloe Johnson, Chelsea and Noah Molder, Christopher and Chelsey Bungart, and grandson-Clayton Lance Bungart.
