Johnson G. Garland, age 71, passed away Friday, June 23, 2017. Visitation 1-8pm Wednesday, family greeting 4-7pm at Smith Mortuary – Haysville, 7031 S. Broadway. Funeral Service 1pm Thursday, June 29th, at Glenville Baptist Church, 4604 S Seneca St, Wichita, KS 67217. Garland is preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Lola Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Donna; children, John Smith, Heidi Johnson; step-son, Steven Stout; brother, Alvin Johnson; sister, Charlotte (Mike) Pokorney; loving extended family. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is with Glenville Baptist Church and the Wounded Warrior Project PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
