Fred Losie

Wichita - Frederick D. Losie, 67, passed away Tuesday, May 19th, 2020.

Frederick was born July 1st, 1952 in Wichita, Kansas to LaVerne Losie

and Phyllis Barr Losie. He graduated from East High School in 1970. In

1971, Fred attended Wichita State University and played football for

the Shockers. He joined the United States Air Force National Guard.

Fred married Lou Ann Roach on August 3, 1973 in Wichita, Kansas. He

spent time with his wife and two girls camping, grilling and

motorcycling. He loved to spend time with family and friends. He was

an avid sports fan proudly supporting his Kansas City Chiefs and

Royals, WSU Shockers and KU basketball. He finished his career as a

CNC machinist and retired from Great Plains Industries.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Frederick is

survived by his wife, Lou Ann Losie; daughters, Jennifer Murphy, and

husband, Patrick, Melissa Morgan, and husband, Philip; grandchildren,

Camden and Hudson Morgan and 4 fur grandbabies; siblings, Mike Losie,

Ronnie Losie, Dori Karnes, and husband Jon; and many nieces and

nephews; aunts Ineta Bebb (husband Martin), Dorothea Sherwood and

D'Lee Ringling (husband Charles) . He will be missed by his dachshund

Minnie.

Due to current events, a celebration of life will be held at a later

date and private service for family at graveside.
