Fred Travis

Fred Travis, 72, of Wichita, passed away Oct. 31, 2014 of natural causes. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. November 5, 2014 at Celebration Baptist Church, 7202 E 9th St N, Wichita with Dr. James Albers, church pastor officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Tuesday, with the family present from 6-8 p.m. at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S Seneca, Wichita. Fred is survived by wife, Linda; sister, Darlene (Vern) Herrman; daughter, Pam (Jesse) Ingram; sons, Bill (Michelle) Travis and David (Jennifer) Travis; grandchildren, Sarah, Jarami, Melissa, Sam, Trey, Ryen and Adam; great grandchildren, Joshua, Madison and Nicohlas; many loving nieces and nephews. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ruby (Dorsey) Travis; sister, Judy Porter, and his son, Russell Travis. Memorial has been established with Celebration Baptist Church, 7202 E 9th St. N., Wichita, KS 67206.
