Fred J. Springs, 81, Original owner of the Radio Shop and Antique Auto Radios, died Wednesday, November 5, 2014. He was well known for his expertise at restoring antique car radios. He is survived by loving wife, Karen; daughter, Teresa “Terrie Springs” Probst (David) of Las Vegas; sons, David Springs (Leslie) and Mark Springs (Kelley) of Wichita; brothers, James and Ernest Spring; sisters, Velma Spring and Mildred Provost; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral service: 10am Tuesday, November 11, 2014, Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville, KS. Viewing will begin at 9am Tuesday with the family present to greet friends. A memorial is established with Kansas Bible Camp, 4508 W. 56th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
