Francis Patrick Egan, Jr age 86, passed away January 7, 2016. Visitation 9-5 Monday with the family to receive friends from 3-5 at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N Rock Rd, Derby. Rosary 7pm Monday and Funeral Mass 10:30 am Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Derby. Besides being in the real estate business for over 50 years in Derby, Pat was past president of the Chamber of Commerce, Derby Jaycees, Derby Lions Club. He was also a member of the Derby Centennial Committee, Derby Community Foundation, Knights of Columbus, Crime Stoppers. Kansas Real Estate Commission, Kansas Association of Realtors, Lord's Diner, Guadalupe Clinic, Trustee at St. Joseph Medical Center, and Serra and Serra International. Preceded in death by: parents, Francis Patrick Egan, Sr and Ethel Fern (Lance) Egan; siblings, Mary Jo, George, John, Vincent, Mike Egan, and Marjorie Derouin. Survivors: wife, Ann Egan; children, Dr. F. Patrick Egan, III, Colleen Ford (Ed), Lance Egan (Lisa), Brian Egan (Kyong), Sharon Roberts (Mike), Ed Egan (Cindy), Debbie Moege (Terry), Steve Egan (Shannon) and Chris Egan; 30 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
