Floyd A. Hopkins

Rev. Floyd A. Hopkins, 82, passed away Sat., Feb. 18, 2017. He was born Apr. 28, 1934 to J.L. and Blanche Hopkins in Melba, ID. Rev. Hopkins worked as a minister for the Free Methodist Church for nearly 50 years and enjoyed woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents; and granddaughter, April Rosen. Rev. Hopkins is survived by his wife, Juanita Hopkins; children, Ginger Rosen and Duane (Patti) Hopkins; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral: 10 am, Wed., Feb. 22, 2017 at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS 67037. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Free Methodist Missions, c/o Rivercrest Free Methodist Community Church, 126 N. Emporia St., Wichita, KS 67202.
