Florine H. Drew

Florine "Flo" H. Drew, was born November 14, 1927 on the family farm in Greenville, Illinois. She passed away January 8, 2017 at the age of 89. She taught in a 1 room schoolhouse for a few years. She met the love of her life, Major Earl Drew, while employed with civil service in St. Louis. Earl was retired from the USAF and during his enlistment, she accompanied him to Germany, Turkey and throughout the United States. Flo became a realtor in Derby, KS working for English Realty and Estates Unlimited. She retired in 1996 after 29 years as a realtor. She is survived by her daughter, Christine Carver; grandchildren, George Thomas IV, Michelle Kribs, Lisa Phillips, Brittany Carver; great-grandchildren, Riley Kribs and Nicki Woods, Viewing: 2-8pm Sunday, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service: 1pm. Monday, January 16, 2017, South Rock Christian Church, 900 S. Rock Rd., Derby.
