Florence Ferrell

Ferrell, Florence “Flo” Tharp, 74, passed away on December 22, 2025. She was born on November 25, 1951, in Colony, Kansas to Bill and Cora Tharp.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Cora Tharp; and brother, Billy Dean Tharp.

Flo is survived by her husband of 16 years, Mike Ferrell; daughter, Lacy Ferrell; and three grandchildren, Destini, Shayla and Dexter; brother, Richard Tharp, and sisters, Karla Guthrie and Rita Branch; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 5-7pm at Smith Family Mortuary, Derby. Graveside service is 1pm Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Mulvane Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice in her name.
