Fernanda Papa, 71, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018. She was born November 12, 1946 to Juan Erasquin and Julia Dalde Erasquin in Tacloban, Philippines. Fernanda loved taking care of her family. She was a devote Catholic that enjoyed her time in prayer. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Telesforo Papa, Jr.; and son, Telesforo Papa III. Fernanda is survived by her daughters, Marian (Norman) Amposta and Thess (Vern) Haws; daughter-in-law, Laarni Papa; grandchildren, Wendy (Oscar) Ward, Jerrick Papa, Hadaza (Khan) Amposta/Nguyen, Christian (Michelle) Amposta, Trixie Papa, E.J. Haws, Teng Erasquin, Mabel Papa, Ningning Papa, Faiza Papa, and Richmond Papa; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt Ogie Ward, Ashlee Papa, and Isha Fernandez. Visitation: Thursday, July 12, 2018, from 1 to 5 pm at Smith Mortuary - Haysville, 7031 S. Broadway Haysville, KS 67060. Rosary: 7 pm, Thursday, July 12, 2018 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 1830 W. Grand Ave. Haysville, KS 67060. Mass of Christian Burial: 10 am, Friday, July 13, 2018 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Mulvane Cemetery.
