Evelyn M. Smith

Evelyn M. (Kerr) Smith,71, homemaker, died May 25, 2016. On December 27, 1968, she and Stephen Smith were married in Wichita at West Side Baptist Church. Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and a second "Mom" to many. Her husband, Stephen; parents, Martin and Mabel Kerr precede her in death. Survivors: son, Leroy of Wichita; daughter, Leanne Jameson and husband, Brad of Arlington, TX; grandchildren, Emily, Hope and Trinity Jameson; siblings, Ruby Berg and Mary Goode both of Wichita; numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing: 2-8pm Wednesday at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca with family present from 5-7pm. Funeral service: 10am Thursday, June 2, 2016, West Side Baptist Church, 304 S. Seneca. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is established with the church.
