Parker, Evelyn, 78, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016. Evelyn was a resident of Douglass for 58 years. She was retired from Via Christi where she worked in the accounting department. She was married to husband, Richard, for forty-four years, prior to his passing in 2000, and was a loving mother of three sons. She enjoyed sewing, family gatherings and activities with her kids and grandkids.
Viewing Friday, April 15th, 1-8 p.m. Family present 5-7pm, at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home, 507 S. Maple, Douglass. Graveside service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, at Toronto Cemetery, Toronto, KS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Parker; parents Chandler and Florence Williams; and brother Donnie Williams. Survived by three sons, Rick (Michele) Parker of Olathe, Larry (Becky) Parker of El Dorado, Gary (Heidi) Parker of Augusta; grandchildren Cody, Hayley, Kristina, Troy, Justin, Corbin, Brendan, and extended grandchildren and great grandchildren Jeff, Megan, Brittany; Gracie, Aiden, Cora and Caleb; and brother Lawrence (Janette) Williams of Springhill, KS.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with National Kidney Foundation, 6405 Metcalf Ave. Ste. 204, Overland Park, KS 66202.
