Evelyn Fullmer

Evelyn Fullmer, age 97, of Derby, homemaker, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Westview Manor in Derby. She was born February 7, 1917 in Hillsboro, KS to Ben C. and Eva (Foth) Janzen. She married Virgil Arnold Fullmer June 8, 1941 at Hillsboro. Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband and 5 brothers. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Loretta & Willie Akins, of Wichita, and Lois & Gary Galyardt, of Yuma, AZ; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Tuesday, May 27th at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville with visitation 1 hour before. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
