Eugene Ray Ryan

Ryan, Eugene Ray, age 80, passed away February 5th, 2013. Graveside service 1pm Monday, February 11th, at Mulvane Cemetery, Mulvane, KS. Gene was born in Anthony, Kansas, and grew up in rural Harper County, as one of six children in his family. He enlisted in the Army while still in high school, and was stationed in Germany. Upon his return, he began driving trucks over the road. He first drove for Castle Steel, then for Coca-Cola. He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Ethel, two brothers, and two sisters. Gene is survived by his wife Shirley Ann (Cotton) and brother L.E. Ryan.
