Eugene "Jimmy Gene" Haskett

Eugene “Jimmy Gene” Haskett, 83, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019. He was born November 29, 1935 to Loy and Cleta (Aikman) Haskett in Stillwater, OK. He loved riding his motorcycle, reading, telling jokes and stories, deer hunting and bird hunting. Gene was a truck driver for Morton Buildings and a jig builder for Cessna, retiring in 2003. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Haskett; 3 brothers; and 4 sisters. Eugene is survived by his wife, Phyllis Haskett; son, Jeff (Lori) Haskett; grandchildren; Jane and Lucy Haskett; and close friends, Randy (Gina) Hoffman, Kelsie and Abby Hoffman. Rosary: 6:00 pm, Wednesday, May 8, 2019 and Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 am, Thursday, May 9, 2019, both at Holy Name Catholic Church, 412 E. 8th Ave, Winfield, KS 67156.
