J.R. Boria

J.R. Boria 75, passed away Friday, June 28th, 2024. He was born October 10th, 1948, to Eufemio Boria and Sylvia Boria in Gurabo, Puerto Rico.

J.R. lived in Wichita, Ks for the past 50 years. He loved life and lived it his way. He was a man of many talents. He had a passion for God, Family, Real Estate (since 1988), mechanics, fishing, hunting and drag racing. His compassion extended to any person or animal in need. His strongest compassion was for his Grandchildren and his 4-legged partner, Bo.

J.R. was preceded in death by his parents, Eufemio and Silvia Boria.

J.R. is survived by his wife, Connie Boria; children, Jose Boria (Ana Rodriguez), Jason (Brooke) Armstrong, Jennifer (Chris) Adkins; siblings, Luis (Diana) Boria, Martha (Julio) Abreu; grandchildren, Alexandra, Angelita, Logen, Caleb, Hannah, Ella, Abigail, Jace, Breigh.

Visitation: Thursday, July 11th, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Smith Mortuary, Derby 1415 North Rock Road Derby, Kansas 67037. Funeral Service: 2:00 pm, Friday, July 12th, 2024, at Smith Mortuary - Derby- 1415 N. Rock Rd Derby, Kansas 67037. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and/or Kansas Humane Society
