Ethel Loann Shaughnessy

Ethel “Loann” Shaughnessy (nee Pryce) was born on April 8, 1932 in Cambria Township Pennsylvania and went to be with the Lord, at home in Derby, Kansas on October 10, 2024. Youngest daughter of, and preceded in death by, George Clifford Pryce and Anna Mae Pryce (nee Lantzy), four sisters and two brothers. Loving wife of George Joseph Shaughnessy Jr., deceased. Cherished mom of Patrick Edward Shaughnessy, Michael John Shaughnessy, Timothy Joseph Shaughnessy and wife Carla Jane Shaughnessy (nee Vennum), Francis Eugene Shaughnessy and wife Jeanette Hope Baldwin. Grandma to Jeffrey Kyle Shaughnessy, Ashley Amanda Shaughnessy, Kaitlyn Ann Martin and Family (nee Rooney), Bryan Dennis Rooney, Brandon Michael Rooney, Madison Lynn Shaughnessy, and Parker Logan Shaughnessy. Loann was quiet and shy, but don’t let that fool you, she was feisty and would be sure to let you know her stand! A fervent fan of wrestling, crossword puzzles and determined Bingo player she devoted her life to God and family. Loann is in His peace.

Services: Wednesday October 16, 2024 at St. Mary Catholic Parish Church 9:30 rosary 10:00 mass

Loann will be interred at El Paso Cemetery, 700 E Kay St, Derby, KS 67037
