Ernest Everett Megli

Ernest E. Megli, 91, retired warehouseman and WWII Veteran, passed away Friday, January 28, 2011. Visitation 1-8 Wednesday at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Graveside service 2 p.m. Thursday, February 3, 2011 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1824 N. Oliver, Wichita, Ks. Ernest was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy; son John Megli; parents William and Kate Megli; 4 sisters, and 6 brothers. Survived by children Barbara (Louis) Blunt, Wichita; Kenneth (Debra) Megli, Mesquite, TX; Ernest Megli II, Arlington, TX; 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and brother Bobby Megli, Hutchinson. A memorial has been established with Hospice Care of Kansas, 750 N. Socora, Suite 400, Wichita, Ks., 67212.
