Emmett C. JayNesahkluah was born January 23, 1964 and raised in Wichita. He grew up in Planeview, where he had and still has many friends. He loved dirt bikes, fishing, Nascar and his family. Emmett was a driver and warehouseman for Hickerson Furniture. He died May 16, 2015 at the age of 51. Preceded in death by his parents, Moses Jay and Hazel Henderson Jay; daughter, Annette Renae; brother, Phillip Jay. Survivors: wife, Christine; two daughters, Hazel JayNesahkluah, Carol JayNesahkluah (Jared) all of Wichita; son, CJ Davis of Goddard; step-children, Annie Dow (Kenny) of Ark City, Rebecka Roth (Michael) of Wichita; grandson, Elijah Jay Chaparro “Baby Man”; many other grandchildren; siblings, Mitchel Jay (Julie), Neva Eurton, Lorella Bridges, Gina Jay, Apache JayNesahkluah, Jared JayNesahkluah (Carol), Caleb JayNesahkluah, Dora Carolyn Glaefke; nieces and nephews. Viewing: 2-8pm Friday with family greeting 2-4pm, Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Graveside service: 1pm, Saturday, May 23, 2015, Maple Grove Cemetery, 1000 N. Hillside.
