Emmagene Crotts, of Derby, age 89, retired Wichita Eagle employee, passed away Friday, October 14, 2011 at Sumner County Regional Medical Center in Wellington. Visitation 1-8 PM Monday with family receiving friends 5-7 PM, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 10 AM Tuesday, Derby Church of Christ, 225 N. Derby Ave. Emmagene is preceded in death by her husband, Carl; parents, Isaac Rush & Annie Belle Crowden; twin daughters, Carolyn and Marilyn; grandson, Norman L. Dicus, Jr.; brothers, Herbert and Victor Eugene Crowden; and sisters, Ellen McCarley and Polly Jennings. Survivors include: daughter, Loretta (Norman) Dicus, of Mulvane; brothers, I.R. Crowden, of Lamar, AR, and Norman Thomas Crowden, of Clarksville, AR; granddaughters, Carla D. Dicus and Lorrie A. Lott; great-grandchildren, William S. (Heather) Charles, Anthony J. (Felicia) Owens, Lynn Allen (Andrea) Lott, Jessica (Jon) Ivy, Lorraine Lott and Norman L., Lott; great-great-grandchildren, Braden and Jade Owens, Emma Dicus, Travis Ivy and Chase Lott and several nieces and nephews.
