Emma R. Gates

Emma R. Gates, age 79, passed away at home Friday, July 26th, 2013. Emma was a kind and sweet soul, loved by all who knew her. She was a dedicated member of Family Church. Visitation 1-8 Monday, July 29th, 2013; funeral service 10:30 am Tuesday, July 30th, 2013, both at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Preceded in death by her husband, David Gates, Sr.; siblings Johnny, Archie, Arby, Jean, Helen, and Sarah. Survived by children David Gates, Jr., Ronald Gates, Randall L. Gates, Shari Ramsey; grandchildren Natasha, Cody, Shannel, Dylan, Carrie, Angie; great-grandchildren Timmy, Chloee, Wyatt, Emma, Molly, Conner, Nathan; and brothers Ed Tussey and Ron Tussey. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Harden Hospice, 2622 W. Central, Ste. 401B, Wichita, KS 67203.
