82, loving wife, mother, and grammy, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018. She was born April 4, 1936 to Garfield and Vada (Wilson) Ramsey in Wichita, KS. Ella enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, and the outdoors. She loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Martin, Nadine Farr, Virginia Strange, and Juanita Parker; brother, Bill Ramsey; grandson, Colton Emerson; and great-grandson, K'dyn McGown. Ella is survived by her husband of 35 years, William McPherson; children, Rick (Deb) Emerson, Robin (Randy) Carter, Ronn (Brenda) Emerson; Roger (Lori) Emerson, Stacey (Crissy) McPherson, and Jeff (Jennifer) McPherson; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Visitation: Thursday, December 20, 2018, from 5 to 8 pm at Smith Family Mortuary - Derby, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS 67037. Funeral: 10 am, Friday, December 21, 2018 at Prairie Trail Cowboy Church, 8552 S. Broadway, Haysville, KS 67060. Interment to follow at Waco Cemetery.
