Liz Stephens

Elizabeth Ann Stephens passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 33. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, known for her compassionate heart and creative spirit.

Born to Kathi Smith and Daniel Stephens, Liz grew up with a deep love for the arts and a passion for helping others. She was a licensed esthetician and a recent graduate of Wichita State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. Her artistic talents and dedication to mental health advocacy were central to her life, and she found joy in bringing beauty and kindness to those around her.

Liz was preceded in death by her son, Oakley J. Stephens, whom she loved dearly. She is survived by her mother, Kathi Smith; her father, Daniel Stephens; her brother, Andrew Stephens; and her cherished niece, Elliot Stephens, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be held on February 7, 2025, at 10:30 am at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary (115 S Seneca St, Wichita, KS 67213). A reception will follow at Studio School (751 George Washington Blvd, Wichita, Kansas 67211), where friends and family can gather to honor Liz’s memory.
