Elizabeth A. Hurst

Hurst, Elizabeth A., 90, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015. She was born November 9, 1924 in Westover, WV. She lived in Derby for the past 3 years. Elizabeth worked as a switchboard supervisor for AT&T for 36 years. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting, and traveling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick E. Hurst; parents; 4 brothers and 1 sister. Elizabeth is survived by her son, Randy (Cathy) Hurst; grandchildren, Nathan (Shaye) Hurst, Melissa (Jake) Peters, and Matthew Hurst; and great-grandson, Gunner Hurst. Family Visitation: Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 5 to 7 pm at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS 67037. Inurnment will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery in South Dakota at a later date.
