Elizabeth Louise Harris

DERBY – Harris, Elizabeth Louise (Kelley) “Betty”, age 79, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011. Private family services. Elizabeth was born in Whiting, KS to Herbert and Paulina Kelley. She was raised in Fredonia, KS and graduated from Fredonia High School in 1950. Elizabeth and Hubert Harris (classmates) were married September 2, 1951. She was employed as a bank teller and bookkeeper in Fredonia, Winfield, Mulvane, Derby and Anchorage, AK until she became a full time mother in 1967. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Bobby and Raymond. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Hubert; daughter, Kathleen (Scott) and her pride and joy, grandson Conner; brothers, Pat (Phylis), Brian (Barbara), Larry (Martha), Ted (Ivy) and Kenneth (Lois) all of Winfield, KS; many nieces and nephews.
