Elinora "Jean" (Piper) Showalter Lehr

Rose Hill- Showalter Lehr, Elinora "Jean" (Piper) 91, passed away Thursday, March 10th, 2022. She was born October 2nd, 1930 to John Piper and Elinor Piper (Mossman) in El Dorado, KS. Jean was a retired elementary teacher from Rose Hill & Derby Public Schools, active member of Rose Hill Senior Center & St. James Episcopal Church in Wichita. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands Donald Lee Showalter & Harold E. Lehr, & one sister Carolyn Buckner. Elinora is survived by her daughter: Sally Stevens of Derby; Son:Sam (Valerie) Showalter of Leon, KS: Step-son: Michael (Caryn) Lehr of Wichita. 6 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren; & numerous other relatives & friends. Memorial Service: 1:00 PM Monday May 23, 2022 at St. James Episcopal Church, Wichita. Inurnment at in Dunlap Cemetery-Rose Hill, KS. & reception to follow at Rose Hill Senior Center. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Harry Hynes Hospice or American Diabetes Association
