Elijah “Eli” Rhodes Bussard, 21,

August 6, 2001 to March 11, 2023, Wichita, Kansas

On Saturday, March 11, 2023, Eli ran into the arms of Jesus, his Lord and Savior. His big goofy grin, endless jokes that kept everyone in stitches, and hugs that made each one feel his love will be greatly missed. He is best described as a big goofy kid. He loved to worship Jesus through music either playing the guitar or singing. Eli loved all kinds of music including rap, country, jazz, Big Band, etc.. He always had some sort of music playing in his ear, on his phone, or he was strumming his guitar and singing, his body swaying to the music he loved.

Eli is preceded to Heaven by his beloved Grandpa Max Bussard, two cousins, Kayla and Jamea Gibbs and several great grandparents. Eli is survived by his fiance’, Aliza Charley and two children, son, Zayden and daughter, Zayla. His parents, Troy and Shauna Bussard. Sisters Emily, Sheridan and Kaydence Bussard. Brothers Brinkley, Brolin and Tydus Bussard all of the home. Grandparents Sherry “Maw Maw” Payne of Wichita, DiAnn Bussard of Hutchinson and Carolyn Woosley (Larry Smith) of Hutchinson. Aunts Shelly ”Sissy” (Vince) Huber of Wichita and Tammy (Wayne) Dudley of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Uncles Terry (Tracy) Bussard of Park City, Tim (Tonya) Bussard of Wichita and Randy (Allicia) Gibbs of Hutchinson as well as numerous cousins, friends and family.

Visitation at Culbertson Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca, Friday, March 24, 2023 from 5 pm - 8 pm.

Services held at Riverlawn Christian Church, 4243 N. Meridian, Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 10 am. Burial following at Sunnydale Park Cemetery, 10365 N. Hydraulic Avenue.
