Eleanor L. Johnson
August 15, 1927 — January 2, 2022
Eleanor Louise "Johnnie" Johnson, 94, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022. She was born August 15, 1927 to Rolla and Verna (Starkey) Kunkel in Winfield, Kansas, the youngest of 10 children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Garland Johnson, who she married August 15, 1945 and her son, Richard Johnson.
Eleanor is survived by her three children, Richard Johnson, Patricia Myers, and Jim Johnson; by 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation beginning 10:00 am Saturday, January 8th, 2022, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am, all at First Christian Church of Douglass. Interment to follow at Douglass Cemetery.
Memorials have been established with Kindred Hospice, and St. Jude Children's Research.
