Eldon Roy Province

Eldon Roy Province was born September 10, 1936 in Alva, Oklahoma. passing July 10, 2021 at the age of 84. He was preceded by his father Roy Spencer Province and mother Rachel Rebecca Hada, sister Patricia Calvin and his wife of 31 years, Margo Province Olmstead. Grandad, as he was known, was a devout family man and blessed with three children, Mark of Oklahoma, Cindy of Arizona and Steve of North Dakota along with four step children, Lynn, Jimmy, Jerry and Kristi, all of Kansas. He adored his granchildren, Lane, Levi, Joshua, Courtney, Jamie and Cody and all of his great grandchildren.

Eldon was a life long Kansas resident after graduating Latham high school, Latham, KS in 1954 and worked as a machinist before retiring at 65. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, metal detecting, garage sales and was an avid reader and loved anything western. He was a member of the First Baptist church in Belle Plaine and was baptized in November of 2001. Eldon loved the Lord, his family and friends above all else.

A memorial has been established with the Sumner County Humane Society.
