Eldon A. Kirtley

Derby - Kirtley, Eldon A., age 73, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012. Visitation 1-8pm Tuesday, November 20th, with family present 5-7pm; funeral service 2pm Wednesday, November 21st, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby. Eldon was born March 27, 1939 in Okeene, OK to Joe and Vesta Kirtley. He married his high school sweetheart, Janet Geis on March 8, 1958. Eldon worked for Boeing Computer Services for 37 years and retired in 1995. He loved spending time with his family, especially his two grandchildren and was an avid hunter, fisherman and bowler. Eldon was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wenfred; son, David. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janet; son, Todd and his wife, Bridgette; grandchildren, Jake and Tayler of Overland Park, KS; brothers, Wendell of Kingfisher, OK, Frank of Okeene, OK and Joe of Hong Kong; sister, Ethel Nault of Enid, OK. A memorial has been established with Rivercross Hospice 251 S. Whittier St. Wichita, KS 67207.
