Garden City - Dailey, Eldon Ray, 80, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017.


Eldon served in the United States Navy from 1955-1959. He was a Firefighter/Assistant Fire Chief for 17 years for the Garden City Volunteer Fire Department. He retired from Burtis Motor on March 15, 2017 after 42 years of service as a Salesman/Fleet Manager.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Merrill and Noreen Dailey; siblings, Mary Ellen (Dailey) Jones, Richard Dailey, and Merrill Dailey, Jr.


Eldon is survived by his wife, Wanda J. (Marker) Dailey, Garden City; children, John William Dailey (Misti), Derby; stepson, Richard Meier, Jr (Michelle), Lawrence; two grandchildren, Lena Dailey, Derby and Joshua Meier, Georgia.
