Eldon R. Amend

Eldon R. Amend II, “E.R.”, age 80, of Derby, retired Baxter Laboratories employee, died Thursday, January 27, 2011. There will be no visitation. Memorial service 10 AM Thursday, February 3, 2011, First Presbyterian Church, 324 N. Baltimore, Derby. Eldon is preceded in death by his parents, Eldon & Harriette Amend and his sister, Virginia Finnin. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Carolyn; son and daughter-in-law, Eldon R. III & Dottie Amend, of Derby; daughters, Angela K Vanburkleo, of Wichita, and Susanna L. Amend, Philadelphia, PA; grandchildren, Kristy and Joshua Vanburkleo, Katherine Niedens, and Ally and Lauren Amend; nephew, Mike & Sharon Finnin and family, of Dubuque, IA; niece, Merry & Chuck Cooper and family, of Topeka, KS.
