Edwin Franklin Bolain

Edwin Franklin Bolain, age 82, of Derby, former owner and operator of B & S Aircraft Parts and Accessories, Inc., passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015. Visitation 1-8 PM Wednesday, October 14, with family receiving friends 5-7 PM, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 10 AM Thursday, October 15, South Rock Christian Church, 900 S. Rock Rd., Derby. Edwin is preceded in death by his parents, Johnie & Edna Bolain; brothers, Jim and Herb Bolain; sister, Sharon Evans; and a granddaughter, Chelsea Gerbitz. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Eleanor; daughters, Chris Brophy (Brian), of Bayfield, CO, and Janell Gerbitz, of Derby; brothers, Ralph Bolain, of Pea Ridge, AR, and Donnie Bolain (Dianne), of Wichita; sister, Pansy Gastineau (Bill), of Springdale, AR; grandchildren, Chancy Gerbitz, Shane Brophy, Chase Brophy (Taren), and Zach Brophy; 4 great-grandchildren.
