Edward J. Stevens, 79, died March 4, 2015 at his home. Rosary 7pm Thursday, March 12, 2015 and Mass 10am Friday, March 13, 2015, both at St. Michael Catholic Church, 525 E Main St., Mulvane. A Professional Magician and member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians since 1977, Ed was also a 3rd Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus. Ed served in the United States Marine Corps stationed in Hawaii and Japan. He was a loving father, extraordinary husband, a doting grandfather and a loving and caring brother. Survivors: wife, Kimberley Moses-Stevens; children, Valerie Laytham, Stacey Kluge (Bill), Tony Stevens (Lisa), Sheila Callen (Doyle), Kurt Moore, Tracy Higuera (Ted), Jonathan Moore (Sheann), Kathy Baldwin (Bob), Christopher Stevens (Bethany) Stephanie Stevens (Mauricio Gastelum) and Sarah Runyan (Darryl); 28 grandchildren; one great grandchild; siblings, Cecelia Manzardo, Barbara Stevens-Jensen, Mary Jean Moman, Judy Clapper, Gerard Stevens, Paulinda Wynn, and Philip Stevens. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Agnes Stevens and a brother, Michael “Mickey” Stevens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Paralyzed Veterans Association, Bldg 61-Room 109, 5500 E Kellogg, Wichita, KS 67218, ALS Association, 3450 N Rock Rd Ste 211, Wichita, KS 67226, or Faith Builders PO Box 722, Andover, KS 67002.
