Edward John Kopyscinski

Edward John Kopyscinski, 82 of Derby, KS, passed away January 5, 2016. He was born May 26, 1933 in Springfield, MA, the son of Philip J. and Dorothy H. (Provost) Kopyscinski. Edward retired from the United States Air Force and the City of Wichita. Preceding Edward in death were his parents and siblings, Dorothy Bond, Raymond Kopyscinski and Gloria Silva. Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou (Simmons) Kopyscinski whom he married on July 16, 1955. Also surviving is his children, Philip E. Kopyscinski (Rhonda), Newcastle, OK, Kim Jamison, Wichita, Judy Jerrell (Phillip), Olivehurst, CA, his siblings, Richard R. Kopyscinski (Catherine), Marilyn Marieb (Michael), Phyllis Hubbard (Richard) all of Feeding Hlls, MA, grandchildren, Christiana Albers (David) , Moore, OK, Philip Kopyscinski (Tracie), Newcastle, OK, great grandchildren, Philip Wayne and Emma Belle of Newcastle, OK. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Thursday at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby, KS. Funeral Services will be 2 PM Friday at the Mortuary.
