Edward J. Gibson

Edward J. Gibson, 84, retired Boeing line mechanic, died October 6, 2016. Edward loved fishing and KU basketball. He also rebuilt Model A's , taking them on road trips and showing them off in parades. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; son, Steve Gibson (Tara); daughter, Susan Cohlmia; grandchildren, Tori Harvey (Nathaniel) and Spencer Gibson; nephew, Richard Gibson (Rosemary); brother-in-law, Len Hurst. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Eva Gibson; siblings, Dixie Gibson, Robert Gibson and Joy Hurst. No visitation. Celebration of Life service: 2pm Wednesday, October 12, 2016, Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. A memorial is established with the Kansas Humane Society.
