Edith Eileen Smith

Eileen Smith passed away at Manor Care nursing home in Overland Park, Kansas on September 22, 2015. Eileen was born in ElDorado, Kansas on October 4, 1918. Her parents moved to Wichita, where Eileen grew up and attended school. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Edith O’Neal, her husband, Dick Smith and her son David Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Palecki (Bob) and sons Larry Smith (Peggy) and Bob (Peggy), 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Eileen had a warm smile and dearly loved her family. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at the Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca, Wichita, Kansas at 10 AM Saturday, October 3rd followed by a graveside service.
