Edgar F. Mode

Derby – Mode, Edgar F. “Ed”, age 74, loving husband, father, grandfather and avid golfer passed away Monday, June 27, 2011. Memorial gathering 6-8pm Thursday, June 30th at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Ovie Mode; brother, Johnny Mode and daughter-in-law, Patricia Mode. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Viola Mode; children, Tina Sternberger, Kevin (Nora) Mode, Kent Mode and Kurt Mode; grandchildren, Tanya (Danny) Jones, Jason (Tina) Mode, Eric Mode, Sidney Mode, Amy Sternberger and Paul Mode; great-grandchildren, Danielle, Danny Jr. and Dominick Jones. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 S. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
