Worthy, Earline Carlton

Earline “Carlton” Worthy age 81, passed away while holding the hand of her husband on February 25th 2020. Preceded in death by her parents Earl Smith and Lottie Dunn, and son Charles Worthy. Carlton was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, EMT, and retired licensed practical nurse. On August 14th 1955 Carlton married the love of her life Charles Douglas Worthy. When Carlton was not working, she could be found reading, playing bingo, or shopping for the latest bargain at a garage sale or thrift shop. She often fell asleep on the couch with a dog on her lap after spending her days caring for others, her family, and the children she fostered. Carlton is survived by her children Billy Worthy (Lynn), Lori Worthy (Shane), and Sundra Holman (Larry). Seven grandchildren; Catherine Woods (Tommy), Jessica Higgins (Brian), Ashley Barr (Mike), James Hunn (Victoria), Jeff Williams (Tess), Joshua Williams (Kylie), Jill Worthy. Fourteen great-grandchildren; Alyssa, Zack, Dalton, Aspen, Boston, Addilyn, Oliver, Owyn, Gianna, Genevieve, Brooklyn, Anaiah, Jeffrey, and Mack.
